Lorena Hernandez

President, Dominican Republic - India Business Council

Born in Colombia, she adopted the Dominican nationality where she resides 17 years ago. Graduated as a Marketing Graduate with honor Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad del Caribe and various studies through important national and international organizations such as: UASD University, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), United Nations Organization for education, science and culture (Unesco), Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), SENA of Colombia, among others, which have allowed him to add knowledge on topics such as: Social entrepreneurship, Strengthening of basin organizations and governance in Latin America, Leadership for Development in Latin America, Management for results, project management for development, climate change, tourism in rural areas, training in gender and governance through the World Bank. With a long history in social work, Lorena holds the position of Executive Director of the Council for Provincial Strategic Development, in the city of La Romana, Dominican Republic.
