Anjali G Sharma is development sector leader, acclaimed writer and grassroots educator who is working to impact lives of girls from underserved communities. She is the Founder of Maitri – a vibrant community of girls raising each other and with the help of mentors on aspirations, courage and opportunities and a board member at Saijaya Youth Trust. She leads education initiatives at Charter for Compassion in India. She also hosts a fortnightly podcast called Ninaad on Mentza and Spotify.

In the past, Anjali has had a corporate experience of 13 years working in the telecom sector in India and abroad. Carrying forward the corporate excellence, she now helps non-profits in the education space across various domains to maximize impact. Anjali is a Karamveer Chakra Awardee and Karamveer Global Fellow – a recognition instituted by International Confederation of NGOs and United Nations  She is TEDx speaker who has been felicitated with multiple awards for her work in the domain of education, writing and working for social impact. Anjali truly believes in the power of compassion and wants to make it a world-wide movement. Her last book, My Act of Heart available on Amazon India and US, is an attempt to reinforce the idea of compassion being synonymous with courage through stories from across the world based on real acts of compassion.
