Deepali Gupta is a business journalist and author writing about India’s largest conglomerates through good and rough times. For nearly two decades she has worked with The Indian Express Group, Network 18, Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, and The Economic Times. She has covered some of the tipping points in Indian corporate governance such as the Satyam Computers Scandal, Telecom wars and the 2G scam, bankruptcy protection regulations. Most recently she authored 'Tata vs Mistry: The Battle for India’s Greatest Business Empire’ a detailed account of boardroom and courtroom battle between the patriarch and professionally appointed chairman of one of India’s oldest and most respected business conglomerates.
