Dhwani Jain is an engineer turned social entrepreneur. In pursuit of her dream to build an inclusive and participatory society, wherein every individual lives a life of dignity as an empowered and self reliant entity, she decided to quit her corporate career and running her own non profit organization – KARMA Foundation. Dhwani is passionate for the cause of gender equality and women safety and running a campaign to deliberate on the solutions to the everyday challenges faced by women as well as to sensitize the society towards the creation of a gender just society. Dhwani Jain is running a comprehensive day care centre in Delhi for the health, education and skilling of children with special needs and abilities as well as for students from under privileged and economically backward sector. She is also working for prison reforms to improve the quality of life of the inmates and facilitate their rehabilitation. Dhwani Jain was a part of the leadership team as Director- Administration & Planning, for India’s most prestigious Arts Festival – Delhi International Arts Festival (DIAF), which is in its 11th year, with a desire to place India on the International Cultural Map. She is working rigorously to promote India as a Cultural Hub with the aim of fostering Cultural Diplomacy and Cultural Tourism.
