Dr. Anuradha Sekhri is a distinguished academician and researcher whose career spans over 17 years of dedicated service to higher education, teacher education, and educational research. As an Associate Professor at the Institute for Development and Communication (IDC), an approved research centre of Panjab University, Chandigarh, she has consistently demonstrated leadership in government-funded projects, curriculum development, and teacher capacity building. Her work is widely recognised for strategically integrating Artificial Intelligence, ICT, and digital tools into pedagogy to foster cognitive development and inclusive educational outcomes. She actively mentors Ph.D. scholars, guides research interns, and contributes to national policy initiatives, including the Punjab Vision Document 2047.

Her academic leadership is reflected in her roles as President of the UT Chandigarh Education Council (WICCI), Professor of Practice at UITTR, Chandigarh University, and Visiting Faculty at CASSM, Chandigarh. She has been empaneled as an Academic Counsellor by IGNOU, New Delhi, and serves as a Distinguished Fellow at NFED, Coimbatore. Dr. Sekhri has authored academic books, holds patents in education, and has published extensively in reputed national and international journals. She has chaired sessions and delivered keynote addresses at international conferences, trained over 7,000 school and university teachers in ICT and AI integration, and contributed significantly to state-level curricular frameworks. Her accolades include the Global Teacher Award 2021 by AKS Educational Society.

Her core expertise lies in Educational Technology, Teacher Education, Curriculum Design, and Inclusive Education. She has successfully completed several government-funded projects, including evaluations of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, inclusive education in Punjab, and the impact of privatization on higher education. With academic qualifications in Chemistry, Education, and Educational Technology, alongside UGC-NET, JRF, and SRF fellowships, Dr. Sekhri continues to be a transformative leader shaping the future of education through innovation, policy, and practice.
