Dr Lipika Sharma is a Law professional with 20 years plus experience as an Academic, Practising Lawyer, Legal Consultant and Managing editor with the leading Australian Law publisher. She practised as an advocate in Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court, Editorial experience with Australian Legal Publisher Wolters Kluwer, in the capacity of Managing Editor (Asia Pacific) Australia, Legal Consultant (head of the department) with CCIM, Statutory body under Ministry of AYUSH. She is Corporate Consultant for Prevention of Sexual Harassment at workplace. She specializes in Intellectual Property Rights. Due to excellence in the academics, she was awarded “Best Women Educator In Innovative Law Teaching” at National Education Excellence Award, 2017 in association with United Nations Global Compact. (April 2017). As an Advocate, she has represented various Government Ministries and Departments before the Courts in India and her cases were published in leading news papers.. She has given legal advised to International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on Disaster Risk Reduction, and was among 4 lawyers chosen from India. She has 2 published books to her credit on Environment Law (2019) with All India Reporter and “Geographical Indications in India: Practice and Procedure” Lambert, German Academic Publisher (2017). She is writing a Chapter for Springer New York on “Comparative Restorative Justice.” She has more the 21 published articles in various International and National journals of repute. She has trained corporates and students of various Universities as a Prevention of Sexual Harassment against women at the workplace (POSH) Trainer. Conducted more than 30 webinars during Pandemic for School of Law, Sharda University, National Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights on 3rd October 2020 and conducting International Conference on “Green IP and Climate Change Mitigation Technologies: Way Ahead”. She is a professor with Sharda University and has worked with leading private Universities like Amity and Galgotias University. She completed her education from the University of Delhi, she has a wonderful academic record of getting the top positions in the University in both the masters i.e. Masters in Political Science and Masters in Law. She holds a Diploma in Corporate laws from Indian Law Institute, Environment Law WWF-IGNOU and certificate course in Intellectual Property Rights from Indian Law Institute.
