Kanika Takiar

Union Territory Vice President, Chandigarh Wellness & Wellbeing Council

Kanika is the Vice President of the council. She has also served as a council member of the Mental Health Council for UT Chandigarh (WICCI). She has worked as an intern in the Psychology department at Fortis, Mohali getting exposure to in-patients and out-patients. She has actively coordinated mental health workshops and webinars for corporates and schools.
Kanika has also been engaged with Heal My Heart and Yuvsatta (NGOs). Currently working with Myra foundation, she is working with underprivileged students.
As Co-founder of Sky-High Events, she has been actively organizing events, exhibitions, and concerts in the Tricity for the past 3 years. Keeping everything sorted and organised has always been a part of her life. She is professional about establishing and maintaining service levels with her clients. 

During her tenure at WICCI, she has been presented the award of "Exceptional Work And Contribution In The Healthcare Sector" at the Annual Health Conclave, 2022; "Exceptional Woman of Excellence" at Women Economic Forum, 2022.
