Kavita Lakhani is one of India’s most respected communications professional with 25 years of experience in Public Relations and Digital Marketing. Kavita is Executive Director and part of the Leadership Team at GolinOpinion Public Relations – Lintas India. She is Co-Chair, India, IPG Women’s Leadership Network and is part of the Group's Crisis Response Team. She has also served as core team member of Lintas India’s Sexual Harassment Committee. Kavita’s analytical ability to use research to uncover key audience motivators/barriers, gives her insight into framing effective campaign strategies. Kavita has worked at Ogilvy PR and Weber Shandwick, prior to her current organization Lintas India. Her brand experience includes Philips, Britannia-Danone, Kodak, Cadbury’s, World Gold Council, McDonald’s, Unilever (Domex), Emirates Airline, Starbucks, Starwood Hotels, Wartsila, Sony, Tourism Victoria, Etihad Airways, Principal Financial Services, Siemens, Porsche, Lamborghini. Kavita is a crisis trainer for corporates and visiting faculty at leading communication institutes like Xaviers Institute of Communication, Symbiosis Pune, EMDI, WPP School of Communication, among others. She has done her Post Graduation in Financial Management from NMIMS Mumbai. Kavita topped her batch in Advanced Program in Strategic Management, IIM Calcutta and has done an Advanced Program in Digital Marketing, IAMAI. Kavita is also a vocal artist who sings Gurbaani (devotional), Sindhi folk (kalaams), Sufi and Bhajans in Hindi, Punjabi, Saraiki and Sindhi languages. Proficient in playing the harmonium and tanpura, she performs live at concerts, cultural programs, charity events and places of worship. Her aim is to work towards giving back to community. Also, to promote Sindhi language, music, art and culture.
