State President

Maharashtra Defence Personnel Council

Manvee Kumar Saidha is deeply rooted in a legacy of service, shaped by her upbringing as the daughter of an onco-surgeon father who served over three decades in the Indian Air Force and a mother who served as an ENT surgeon under the Short Service Commission. Growing up in defence environments across the country, she witnessed firsthand the values of discipline, leadership, humility, and resilience—not only among serving officers but also among defence spouses who play a critical role in community welfare. These experiences fostered her early commitment to service and gave her a nuanced understanding of the unique personal and professional challenges faced by women in the defence ecosystem.

A graduate of the School of Law, Christ University (Class of 2022), where she ranked among the top 10 students, Manvee has consistently balanced academic excellence with meaningful social engagement. During law school, she held multiple editorial leadership positions and served on core committees across several initiatives. Her research work has received both national and international recognition, leading to presentations at conferences—an area she remains deeply passionate about. She is also actively associated with two NGOs, focusing on education, legal awareness, and empowerment.

Currently, Manvee works with the debt finance team of a top-tier law firm, while also contributing actively to the firm’s CSR initiatives. She regularly volunteers as a mentor across professional networks, leading discussions on leveraging technology to enhance employability for the next generation. Through teaching young adults about legal rights, access to legal aid, and navigating judicial systems—particularly those from distressed backgrounds—she continues to give back to society. Motivated by the people and communities around her, Manvee remains committed to purposeful service, mentorship, and inclusive progress.
