Meera Chaudhary is an independent documentary filmmaker and the founder of New Stream Media, a creative production platform based in Delhi that specializes in purpose-driven storytelling. With over 14 years of experience in research, scriptwriting, film design, and direction, she has directed and produced a diverse range of nonfiction storytelling—blending cinematic documentary with social commentary and creative experimentation.

As the creative head of New Stream Media, Meera has produced five feature-length documentary films, five short films, thirty animation films, photo stories, and more than a hundred audio-visual works for prominent civil society organizations in India.

Her independent films and commissioned works have been featured at prestigious national and international festivals, earning awards and traveling widely. Meera has personally presented her films at over 300 in-person screenings across various institutions and cultural platforms. She is also an Aspire Circle Fellow for emerging social leaders and has served as a jury member, panellist, and guest lecturer at respected forums and institutions.
