Her passion is to create more Role Models for Young Women to encourage them to pursue careers in Heavy Manufacturing Industry. As a Mechanical Engineer herself, specializing in Engineering of Manufacturing Systems , she has worked with Honda Cars India on building resilient supply chains across tiers, researched with Cranfield Manufacturing to evaluate the technology push vs market pull of Industry 4.0 tools like Supply Chain Control Towers and recently been selected for Indian School of Business , Advanced Management Program for Manufacturing and Operations as the youngest person to join the cohort. Over a span of 4 years while pursuing Mechanical Engineering, she built Team Panthera, World’s First All Women Student Super Mileage Team that secured 7th rank in SAE Supermileage held in Marshall, Michigan in 2016. This drive to push the change also made her mentor over 300 Young Women Engineers as the Founder & Regional Leader of Lean In India. Lean In is an Online Global Community for Women started by Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook to promote ambition among them. For building this community of over 5500 women across India, she was invited to represent India at the Lean In Asia Summit, Asia Business School, Malaysia 2016 and Lean In Regional Leaders Conference at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California 2018. With the community that she has recently started - Pencils & Pistons, her focus is primarily on skill building and providing right tools to women to ensure they become future leaders in the industry.
