Shamayita Sen is a Delhi-based poet and PhD research scholar in the Department of English at the University of Delhi. Her work explores the intersections of literature, identity, and contemporary culture, blending academic inquiry with creative expression.

She is the author and editor of three poetry collections, most recently My Body is Not a Vessel (Hawakal, 2022), which reflects her distinctive voice and evolving engagement with themes of embodiment and selfhood. Her writing—spanning poetry, research articles, and book reviews—has been published in a wide range of national and international journals and anthologies.
