Shreelata Krishnan is a Sustainability, Circular Economy, and Climate Action professional with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record in driving social development initiatives. She brings a creative, bottom-up approach to capacity building, impact monitoring, and sustainable transition strategies. Her work spans mentoring enterprises, implementing community-centric solutions, and supporting organizations in achieving measurable societal, economic, and climate impact. Passionate about people, cultures, and inclusive development, she has engaged with diverse national and international organizations across sustainability communication, social impact, and capacity-building domains.

With extensive experience across the UK, India, and global platforms, Shreelata has delivered high-value contributions through roles in climate action networks, sustainability strategy development, circular economy projects, and community engagement research. Her work includes designing sustainability roadmaps for multinational enterprises, developing emission reduction forecasts, registering projects on the UN SDG Partnership Platform, and crafting digital and environmental communication campaigns. Her early career in hospitality, shipping, and telecom strengthened her leadership, customer service, and team management abilities—skills she later applied in founding and scaling her own social enterprise supporting rural and semi-urban SHGs and artisans.

A committed mentor and ecosystem enabler, Shreelata has supported numerous social entrepreneurs through prestigious global platforms, including the Miller Center GSBI, Cartier Foundation, Cherie Blair Foundation, Indigram Labs, and various government and accelerator programs across India and abroad. She is deeply invested in promoting entrepreneurship, empowering vulnerable communities, and fostering sustainable innovation. Fluent in seven languages and equipped with certifications in SDG indicators, CSR, and sustainability leadership, she holds an M.Sc. in Sustainability Transitions from the University of Aberdeen, UK.
