Dr. Shreya Barbara is a multifaceted professional recognized for her leadership at the intersection of tourism, research, and education. She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Landscape Safari, where she focuses on promoting responsible and immersive tourism experiences across North East India, with a special emphasis on Assam and its surrounding regions. Her work highlights sustainable travel, community engagement, and authentic cultural narratives rooted in local heritage.

She is also the Founder of Iksha Education and Research Centre, an initiative dedicated to advancing research, learning, and knowledge dissemination. Dr. Shreya holds a PhD in Neuro-Cognitive Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), bringing a strong academic foundation that informs her interdisciplinary approach to education, communication, and storytelling.

By seamlessly blending scholarship with on-ground impact, Dr. Shreya Barbara champions cultural storytelling, regional identity, and responsible tourism, using research-driven insights to elevate North East India on national and global platforms while empowering local communities and preserving cultural ecosystems.
