Dr. Shikha Wadhwa received her Ph.D. degree from Nanotechnology & Integrated Bio-Engineering Centre (NIBEC), University of Ulster, UK in 2011, M.Tech. (Nanotechnology) from Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity University, Noida, India, & M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Delhi University, Delhi, India. Dr Wadhwa has published above 45 research articles in national & international journals of repute, 8 book chapters in Springer International Publishing, Bentham publications, Pan Stanford publishing & Academic Press, Elsevier publishing, filed 5 Indian patents & has been involved in 1 technology transfer. Her research interests involve nanomaterials and nanocomposites for the removal of organic contaminants from water, sensing of bio-analytes and hydrogen storage and sensing. Dr Wadhwa has been a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC) & is a lifetime member of The Northern Ireland Biomedical Engineering Society (NIBES). With around 10 years of work experience, currently she is working as Assistant Professor at University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India.
