Architecture has always been a way of life for Sabeena. She grew up in an environment of design in Chandigarh, the epitome of modern architecture in independent India . With 38 years of professional experience, she spearheads Studio K.I.A, a globally recognized and multi awarded architecture firm. The studio has designed and delivered projects of all type and magnitude and their project profile transcends scale and use from Master Planning & Urban Design to High rise Luxury Residential developments, Hospitality and Retail environments, Educational and Institutional campuses, Leisure, Commercial & Mixed-use to Luxury Villa developments.

She is presently a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects (FIIA), an Associate of Institute of Indian Interior Designers (AIIID), Founding Member of Women’s Entrepreneur Committee at PHD Chamber of Commerce (WEC-PHD) and Influencer for Womennovator, a virtual incubator for women entrepreneurs. iDAC Intelligence Series 2019 & 2020 had her as a Curator of the event.

She contributes articles to architecture design journals regularly and has been well covered by media across all platforms. She has been a guest speaker at various professional and women forums namely WADe Asia,  Women’s Economic Forum 2017 (WEF),  Jaquar Design Confab 2018 & 2019, IDAC Intelligence series ,Delhi, Renomania – Smart Home Lighting (professional E- series), Talk of Town 2018 & 2019 for Surfaces Reporter, Le Corbusier memorial lecture at CCA, Chandigarh, W- Talk, Wommenovator, Chandigarh, Interior Trends of  2018 at  FLOU launch.
