Shahwar Shohrat is an enterprising woman leader with extensive experience building businesses from the ground up. She has, over the years, set up and successfully run multiple businesses in India and abroad. A NIFT and AMU alumni, she has various firsts to her name, which defies social constraints. She started her fashion line - Shayve. She ventured into hospitality with a multicuisine fine-dine restaurant. She established a successful events management company, Nash Events, in Africa. She worked with the world's biggest IT company, IBM. Her most recent entrepreneurial venture, The Luxe Story, which she is the CEO and co-founder of, has a vision of reviving handicrafts and rejuvenating them through the use of innovative technology and giving them a global marketplace.

The juxtaposition of successful business with social benefits for the community drives her day in and day out. She actively advocates not only the cause of women's empowerment but also women's entrepreneurship. She is a Global Goodwill Ambassador and Chairperson for the All Ladies League for Aligarh and National President for the Women India Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Events and Projects Council. She is associated with multiple organizations and societies supporting their causes for the good of the community and mankind.
