Shravanti Borah is a passionate social entrepreneur dedicated to preserving and promoting the heritage weaves and native silks of Assam. As the Founder of Enajori and Co-founder of Shrama’, she works closely with traditional weavers and grassroots artisans to showcase their craftsmanship on a global platform.

Through Enajori, she aims to develop the inherent skills of traditional weavers, ensuring sustainable livelihoods, fostering economic development, and enhancing cultural vitality. Her expertise extends to working with Eri and Muga silk, cotton handlooms, and handicrafts, integrating innovative design with traditional weaving techniques.

Shravanti envisions taking Assam’s textile heritage to the international market through technical knowledge, collaborations, and capacity-building initiatives. She specializes in producing a diverse range of products, including handwoven stoles, home furnishings, table linens, and eco-friendly handicrafts made from water hyacinth and Sital pati.
