Anam Husain is a New Delhi–based sustainable fashion designer and the Founder of her namesake label, ANAM HUSAIN. Recognized as a GenNext Winner 2025 at Lakmé Fashion Week × FDCI, she has quickly established herself as a rising voice in sustainable fashion. Her accolades include the Sustainable Designer Label of the Year 2025 by SustainableNxt (Apparel Resources) and the Emerging Innovator Jury Award 2025 by Kula Innovate, supported by 200 Million Artisans, underscoring her impact and innovation in the industry.

Her debut GenNext collection, CUT-PUTLY, drew inspiration from Rajasthani puppetry, using the art form as a metaphor to explore themes of patriarchy, identity, and empowerment. Entirely crafted from upcycled post-consumer denim jeans, the collection was elevated with hand crochet and zardozi embroidery, blending sustainability with traditional craftsmanship. This bold narrative not only showcased her creative vision but also highlighted her commitment to circular design practices.

A Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women scholar at IIM Lucknow, Anam bridges traditional Indian artistry with contemporary sustainable design. Her work reflects a mission to build a circular textile ecosystem that values resource stewardship and cultural heritage. By integrating innovation with sustainability, she continues to redefine fashion as a medium for empowerment, responsibility, and enduring impact.
