Dr. Swati Sharma is an accomplished academic and industry professional with two decades of experience in teaching and communications. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Amity University, India, she has established herself as a thought leader in tourism and hospitality education. Her pioneering achievement as the first Indian to receive the Certified Tourism Educator award from the Asia Pacific Institute of Events Management highlights her dedication to advancing the field.

Beyond academia, Dr. Sharma plays a significant role in professional organizations. She is the Vice-President of the Delhi State Conscious Communication Council of the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), where she contributes to empowering women and promoting conscious communication practices. She also serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals such as Consumer Behaviour in Tourism & Hospitality, Inderscience Journals, and IGI Global, ensuring the quality and relevance of research in her domain.

Her scholarly contributions are extensive, with 15 authored and edited books and numerous research papers published in respected national and international journals, including IGI Global, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Apple Academy Press, CABI, and Edward Elgar.
