As CEO of North India’s first celebrity management company and head of DRecords International, she has produced over 200 music albums and collaborated with legends like Jagjit Singh. In recognition of her entrepreneurial achievements, she was awarded an honorary doctorate by Ecole Superieure Robert De Sorbon University, France, in 2024. Her journey reflects boldness, empathy, and an “anything is possible” spirit that continues to inspire.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Taran’s personal life is equally rich. Married to celebrated pop icon Daler Mehndi and mother to Rabab, she has balanced family with a thriving career in the music industry. Her artistry has been praised by stalwarts such as Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib and Padma Shri Ustad Anwar Khan. With a career spanning two decades, she has carved a unique space in India’s cultural landscape, blending tradition with innovation and leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

Deeply rooted in spirituality and social responsibility, Taran co-founded the Daler Mehndi Green Drive, which has planted over 11 lakh trees in Delhi-NCR. She has authored and directed projects on consciousness and inner liberation, while also contributing to public health awareness through creative content for WHO SEARO. Her philosophy of “serving by creating” shines through her songs, films, and writings, reflecting her commitment to higher consciousness, environmental stewardship, and mental well-being.
