A specialist in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) with international experience, I have been in the legal profession for more than two decades. I began my litigation practice with Sheldon Law Firm as an associate partner and appeared in various District Courts, Tribunals, Commissions, Delhi High Court, and Supreme Court of India and as counsel before arbitrators. After a decade of practice as an advocate and being empanelled with various government and non-government organizations, I found my niche in alternate dispute resolution. Following my passion, I joined the Delhi Dispute Resolution Society (DDRS) as an Additional Director and now work towards empowering women. I have promoted and created the awareness program and campaign on the mediation process and its benefits within society and received letters of appreciation from the various government agencies. Some of the cases of crime against women and consumer forums that I have worked with have been published in local newspapers too. I was invited by APN Television News channel of Legal Helpline as an expert of ADR where I interacted online with viewers and addressed various issues pertaining to personal and commercial dispute resolution. As a Senior Associate and Director Business Development at Tag – The ADR Group, I manage complex matters of mediation both nationally and internationally. I work as the sole arbitrator with Centre for Online Resolution of Disputes (CORD) and Indian Dispute Resolution Centre (IDRC). I also assist Hon’ble Justice (Rtd.) ML Mehta in various complex and high-stake arbitration matters. My other responsibilities include providing training to mediators at Delhi Dispute Resolution Society, Dept. of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. As a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, I am dedicated to work for the prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace.
